I bought this guitar package for my 9 year old grandson for Christmas. I got it out, tuned it and played. The strings are very good. No tinny sound or buzzing. It has such a sweet sound. The amp is sooooo awsome!! We only had to put the volume to "1". It really cranks. I know my grandson will be amazed at this guitar and I am sure it will last for many many years.

I'm thinking of purchasing another of these Epiphone packs for myself.

This beginner's set was purchased for my nephew in the US. The contents of the package (guitar, amp, tuner, CD) and the price were the primary reasons why I chose this package.

Delivery time was top-notch, but the guitar made a buzzing noise all along the neck, no matter how it was tuned. This is a set-up issue: the guitar had not been inspected before shipment to ensure that the distance between the frets and the strings was as it ought to be.

To their credit, the seller responded very positively to our complaint. They offered an apology, a refund, free set up at a local (US) music store, and a new set of strings.

From last accounts, my nephew is making great progress on the instrument and is very pleased with the sound.

I just started playing Guitar and after seaching around the internet i found this steal of a guitar. I paid 179.99 from amazon and it shipped free and seeing as im in Iraq thats awsome. Ayway the guitar is very easy to play action isnt to high and its easy to get a clean sound from, tunning is also no problem usualy the top two strings need to be a little tighter after sitting over night but thats about it. The tuner is very helpful and the dvd while not very exciting does have a great cord dictionary thats very helpful to me. Over all for the money i think this is a awsome package the only peice of the package that isnt awsome is the gig bag and at this price who cares the gig bag they give you is just that a bag no padding or anything of that sort.

A deal for the price.A nice sounding ,well made Yamaha and all the goodies.I did not expect the high level of finish and quality for the price.Great starter package.I think you will agree when you get yours.You can get a better guitar but you will pay a lot more.

This is a truly nice acoustic electric guitar. I had not touched a guitar since I was 10 years old and bought the guitar to restart my musical interests all these years later. The wood finish is beautiful and the blemish(s) are not apparent. The included amplifier is nice. The product is a bargin at the listed price!

The DVD tapes and chord chart are just what I was looking for with a guitar package. I was never happy with my music teachers, but Esteban has just the right stuff for guitar instruction. The instruction tapes are clear and easy to follow.

I am a beginner. I wanted to get a nice guitar for a modest price. I bought this package from The Instrument Store. I kept my expectations low. I expected a toy. I only paid 3 total w/shipping. Now my review. 1st of all I received notification from Amazon and The Instrument Store soon after I made my purchase. I received the guitar in 3 business days by U.P.S. Everything came in 1 box. The guitar was packed inside of the case which kept it protected during shipping. All the accesseries were included. The guitar is very pretty and I am hard pressed to find a blemish. This tells me that I got a good deal and that the QC standards are very high. The guitar is not a toy. It is made of good materials and the overall construction is solid. The amplifier is cute, small and only 10 watts compared to my 100 watt Bose surround speakers. However the size will certainly fool you because it weighs about 20 pounds and it can put out a lot of sound. The main reason I chose to order this package is because it came with lessons. I have seen Esteban on T.V. and admire his skill. His instructional videos are as good as having him sit with you in your home. I even tuned my guitar (to my satisfaction) using the 1st video. No fancy gadget. So there you have it. Esteban did his part (thanks and good luck sir), The Instrument Store did their part (thanks for the great service folks), now it's up to me to learn to play. I think the guitar sounds very nice and I rate this package 5 stars.
